We will soon turn the first kilometres with the Lynk & Co 03 Cyan Concept, the next step following our 450-hp Volvo C30 Concept and 508-hp Volvo S60 Concept.
We are truly exited to leave the workshop behind and hit the road to put the new car to test. Our first stop will be southern Spain at the same time as we are there preparing for the FIA World Touring Car Cup with the Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car.
Our very first step with a road car was taken in 2010, celebrating our victory in the 2009 Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. We took the best parts from the Volvo C30 S2000 race car and turned it to the Volvo C30 Concept that Jeremy Clarkson labeled:
"A deafening, electric blue streak from the frozen north."
Our second concept road car was based on the Volvo S60 race car, our most successful race car ever with a World title and five consecutive Scandinavian titles.
And that brings us to today.
