The FIA World Touring Car Cup races at the Nürburgring have been cancelled on safety grounds.
The decision was announced during a team manager’s meeting on Saturday morning.
Lynk & Co Cyan Racing was holding a pole position for one of the planned races but respects the decision, as safety is the number one priority.
Several WTCR teams reported tyre issues during the practice and qualifying sessions at the Nürburgring, including all five Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers.
The next race weekend takes place at the Hungaroring on June 11-12.
